I'm not sure if this is late puberty growing but I'm 20 years old (male) and exceptionally short for my age (5'5"). As a child I had a horrible diet. I rarely ate vegetables and fruits and ate bundles of meat, junk food, and breakfast cereals (oversugar'd artificially fortified crap). I also smoked oodles of marijuana (blunts) during the time where I should've been having the most pubertal growth so I have a feeling I've delayed my puberty. However, my penis isn't small (but that might be because part African American) and my testicles seem to be of adult size. I think I have normal sized hands (long slender fingers/small palms) and average sized feet (9.5 / 10 US) and have an adults worth of facial, pubic, and underarm hair but my chest hair is limited to the center of my pectorals and around my nipples (I've read that hair is mostly protein and I ate meat regularly as a child so that may be something). It wasn't until about late 2008, early 2009 that I really got interested in health and fitness, as well as bodybuilding. I've always been underweight (weighing in at usually 122-130) and a lot of it was probably fat due to my high sugar intake (though I've never been noticeably weight bearing- just less defined). However, now that I've taken an interest into fitness and bodybuilding, I've had begun working naturally (no use of performance boosters like creatine, whey powder, etc.) with only Men's One-a-Day being an aid to my regular diet. I've been eating less red meat, more vegetables, and more lean meats and whole grains and now it seems that my bones are popping and crackling all over the place (particularly my pectoral girdle, sternum, lower back, and knees). My muscles are much more defined and getting larger even when I take entire-week breaks from workouts. To make a long story short, am I just reaching for the stars or am I experiencing a late growth spurt? Thanks you guys. My voice just recently got the deepest it's ever been as well. My voice just began getting the deepest it's ever been but it still kinda fluctuates from rumbling deep to a kind of deep/light mixture of my normal voice.... Read More »
